RareZoanthids.com is a website created for zoanthids appreciation.  The website was started in June of 2008 by kappaknight (Atlanta, GA), a former Atlanta Reef Club member and its meant to serve as a resource for reefers to learn more about zoas (or zoos) and other corals in the hobby.

The goal of this website is to share information and cool pictures of zoanthids that are currently found in the hobby.  If you would like to contribute pictures or background information for any of the corals found on this website, please contact the authors of this blog and we will be glad to add it.

  • I came across this site while trying to ID Zoas at work. What a great idea! I have been looking for a site that describes the Zoas as well as posts pictures. Is this blog still active? Do you need contributors?

    Yeah, we would certainly love contributing writers. My schedule has been extremely busy so I haven't really had time to tend to the zoas. I still love their amazing looks though.
